Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, mastery-based maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Use innovative teaching methods to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
Support the development of students’ mathematical fluency and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
Maintain strong, positive relationships with students and promote a culture of high expectations and respect.
Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the school’s mission and values.
Engage with parents and the wider community to support student progress.
Take ownership of your classroom and be proactive in shaping the learning experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with experience in maths education.
Commitment to the school’s ethos and values.
Strong classroom management skills and ability to maintain high standards of behaviour.
Experience in delivering a mastery curriculum or similar approach.

Preferred

Experience with teaching both lower and upper school.
Familiarity with using digital tools and resources in teaching.
Background in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Previous experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
