The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our vibrant department and contribute to the academic success of students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers the chance to take on leadership responsibilities and shape the future of mathematics education within the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
- Support students in achieving outstanding academic outcomes and developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning strategies within the department.
- Contribute to the leadership of Key Stage 4 provision, including curriculum development and student support.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote student well-being and academic achievement.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments to monitor student progress.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, planning sessions, and other school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to Key Stage 4 provision.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
