The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our vibrant department and contribute to the academic success of students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers the chance to take on leadership responsibilities and shape the future of mathematics education within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
  • Support students in achieving outstanding academic outcomes and developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning strategies within the department.
  • Contribute to the leadership of Key Stage 4 provision, including curriculum development and student support.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
  • Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, planning sessions, and other school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to Key Stage 4 provision.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
