We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our Mathematics Department and contribute to a school that consistently achieves the highest standards in education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths lessons that inspire and challenge students
  • Plan and assess schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum expectations
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated teaching and learning
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of maths teaching strategies
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students where appropriate
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to promote a positive learning culture
  • Monitor and report on student progress regularly

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • Relevant teaching experience, including experience teaching Mathematics
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a Catholic school or similar ethos
  • Experience with CPD and professional development
  • Experience with using technology in the classroom
  • Experience with teaching students across a range of abilities
