Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and support students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that challenge and engage students
- Use a range of assessment strategies to provide targeted and directed feedback
- Plan and deliver innovative and reflective lessons and schemes of work
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve teaching and learning practices
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Support the school’s commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS and relevant subject knowledge in mathematics
- Experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and support student behavior
Preferred
- Experience with teaching students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
- Experience with using new technologies or teaching approaches in the classroom
- Experience in cross-Trust working or within a multi-academy trust
- Experience with instructional coaching or mentoring
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary on the Outer London Main/Upper Pay Scale (£37k - £56k)
