The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students across all key stages.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that align with the school's ethos and curriculum goals.
- Support students in achieving outstanding academic results, with a focus on A-level and Further Maths.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental performance and student outcomes.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, promoting a culture of excellence and integrity.
- Stay up to date with developments in Maths education and integrate new teaching methods and technologies.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4, with a strong track record of student achievement.
- Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that foster a love of Maths.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Commitment to the school's values of excellence, integrity, community, and kindness.
Preferred
- Experience teaching A-level Maths and Further Maths.
- Leadership experience or interest in taking on a leadership role within the department.
- Experience in developing and leading extra-curricular Maths activities.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
