Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students across a range of ability levels.
• Support students in developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and effective lesson plans and teaching resources.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of the mathematics curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in mathematics.
• Eligibility for QTS or current trainee status.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Willingness to undergo child protection screening and DBS checks.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of a dynamic school environment.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching mathematics at secondary level.
• Experience offering additional subjects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
