Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Guide pupils from reluctant readers to analytical thinkers and from hesitant writers to persuasive communicators.
• Deliver engaging lessons that balance academic rigor with creativity and warmth.
• Support students with additional needs through structured, inclusive teaching practices.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of literature.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
• Ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.

Preferred

• Experience working with students who have additional needs.
