Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons to students across a range of key stages.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching resources and strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
- Support students’ personal, social, and emotional development through pastoral care and guidance.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
- Stay current with developments in the field of Psychology and education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Psychology or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Experience in teaching at a secondary level, preferably within a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in a selective or independent school environment.
- Familiarity with the latest educational technologies and teaching methodologies.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support roles.
- Leadership experience or the potential to take on a leadership role within the department.
