Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons to students across a range of key stages.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching resources and strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
  • Support students’ personal, social, and emotional development through pastoral care and guidance.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

  • Stay current with developments in the field of Psychology and education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Psychology or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Experience in teaching at a secondary level, preferably within a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in a selective or independent school environment.
  • Familiarity with the latest educational technologies and teaching methodologies.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support roles.
  • Leadership experience or the potential to take on a leadership role within the department.
