The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher with Curriculum Responsibility to join our successful department. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality maths lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Support the implementation of the maths curriculum across all key stages.
• Lead and contribute to whole-school teaching and learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance professional development and share best practices.
• Design and deliver numeracy interventions to support student progress at Key Stage 3.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Maintain accurate records and report on student achievement and development.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that reflects the school’s Catholic ethos.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant maths experience.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
• Experience in curriculum development and leadership.
• Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience in leading or contributing to whole-school teaching and learning strategies.
• Experience with numeracy interventions or Key Stage 3 curriculum development.
• Familiarity with the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust and its values.
• Experience in supporting staff professional development.
