The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse baseline assessment data to identify students requiring targeted intervention and evaluate the effectiveness of support provided.
- Design and implement an intervention curriculum for the Mathematics Intervention Learning Support Assistant (LSA) and oversee its delivery.
- Deliver the Axiom Maths programme to enhance the attainment and progress of disadvantaged students.
- Coordinate and evaluate intervention strategies across the department.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Provide high-quality teaching in Mathematics to students of all abilities.
- Support the development of a new strategic vision for the department to raise standards further.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Proven ability to analyse data and develop targeted intervention strategies.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and pastoral care.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or managing intervention programmes.
- Familiarity with the Axiom Maths programme or similar initiatives.
- Experience in working with disadvantaged students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
