Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that engage and challenge students
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to improve student outcomes
- Support students through individualised learning and pastoral care
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance Science department initiatives
- Safeguard and promote student welfare in accordance with school policies
- Take initiative in identifying and addressing student needs
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in the planning and delivery of cross-curricular and enrichment activities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Physics
- Proven experience in teaching Physics at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to Science department initiatives
- Knowledge of current educational trends and pedagogical approaches
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction
