The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) to join a successful faculty and contribute to the continued success of our students. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young people and deliver high-quality language education at Key Stage 4 and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish at Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Support students in achieving excellent results in GCSE and A Level examinations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a high-quality curriculum.
  • Promote a love of language learning and encourage student progress and achievement.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure all learners reach their full potential.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching French and Spanish at Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of education and student achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
  • Knowledge of Mandarin or German as an additional language.
  • Experience with GCSE and A Level examination preparation.
  • Familiarity with the Wandle Teaching School Hub and cross-MAT training opportunities.
