We are seeking a highly skilled Visiting Music Teacher (French Horn) to deliver lessons to students at the school. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instrumental lessons to students, focusing on technique, performance, and musical development.
• Collaborate with the Music School Manager to ensure smooth administrative and contractual processes with parents.
• Maintain a professional and engaging teaching environment that aligns with the school’s values and mission.
• Provide regular feedback and progress reports to parents and the school as required.
• Attend meetings and participate in any school-related events or activities as appropriate.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Follow all safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified and experienced French Horn teacher with a strong background in music education.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule and contracts.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Experience teaching students of varying ages and abilities.
• Familiarity with the UK music education system and curriculum.
• Experience with online or hybrid teaching methods.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with students and parents.
