Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective tuba lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Maintain a high standard of teaching and ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
• Collaborate with the Music School Manager to manage service agreements and lesson arrangements.
• Attend meetings with the Music School Manager as required.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and lesson delivery.
• Ensure compliance with the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support the school’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified and experienced tuba teacher with a strong background in music education.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own teaching schedule.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Willingness to comply with child protection screening and checks.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in a school or educational setting.
• Familiarity with the UK music education system.
• Experience with students of varying ages and abilities.
• Strong musical background and performance experience.
