The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Spanish Teacher to join a dynamic and successful department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to students across key stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and challenging curriculum content aligned with AQA specifications.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through effective teaching and assessment strategies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities and trips that enhance students’ language learning experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • Experience in teaching Spanish at key stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Commitment to student achievement and a passion for teaching.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with the AQA specifications for GCSE and A-level Spanish.
  • Experience in delivering extracurricular activities or organizing trips related to language learning.
  • Ability to teach a second language as an additional skill.
