The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Spanish Teacher to join a dynamic and successful department. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to students across key stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Prepare and deliver engaging and challenging curriculum content aligned with AQA specifications.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through effective teaching and assessment strategies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities and trips that enhance students’ language learning experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- Experience in teaching Spanish at key stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Commitment to student achievement and a passion for teaching.
Preferred
- Familiarity with the AQA specifications for GCSE and A-level Spanish.
- Experience in delivering extracurricular activities or organizing trips related to language learning.
- Ability to teach a second language as an additional skill.
