The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) to join a dynamic and growing school community. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons to students across key stages.
- Develop and implement engaging, inclusive, and challenging curricula aligned with school values.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
- Support student wellbeing and personal development through pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to maintain and enhance teaching expertise.
- Contribute to the wider school community through staff meetings, events, and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in French and Spanish.
- Proven experience in teaching MFL at secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering MFL to a range of abilities and key stages.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
