Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of the science curriculum in Biology, GCSE, and A level classes.
• Maintain and manage laboratory equipment and resources to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
• Assist with the preparation of experiments and materials for science lessons.
• Collaborate with other science technicians and teachers to provide a high-quality service across the science department.
• Provide technical support during practical lessons and demonstrations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory.
• Keep detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
• Assist with the storage, organization, and ordering of laboratory consumables.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant experience or training in a science-related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
• Experience in a school or educational setting is advantageous.

Preferred

• Experience in a laboratory or technical support role.
• Knowledge of biology and science curriculum requirements.
• Experience with GCSE and A level science courses.
• Familiarity with modern laboratory equipment and software.
