The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated music teacher to join our dedicated team. This role involves teaching class music sessions across the school, leading hymn practice, and contributing to the school choir. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach class music sessions across all year groups
• Lead weekly hymn practice sessions
• Contribute to the development and management of the school choir
• Deliver high-quality music education aligned with the school’s ambitious curriculum
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music program
• Support the school’s Catholic ethos through music and worship
• Maintain and manage the dedicated music room and resources

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in teaching music, either as a qualified or unqualified teacher
• Ability to deliver engaging and effective music lessons
• Strong musical skills and knowledge
• Commitment to the school’s Catholic values and ethos
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Qualified teacher status or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience in leading a school choir or similar ensemble
• Experience with hymn practice or liturgical music
• Experience working in a Catholic school environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
