Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school by leading or participating in ensembles, choirs, or other music-related activities.
  • Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral care and guidance to students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in music or a related field.
  • Strong graduate background with a deep passion for music.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach music effectively to students of all ages.
  • Experience in a school setting, either in the maintained or independent sector.
  • Commitment to pastoral care and the welfare of students.
  • Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in leading or managing music ensembles or choirs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
