Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Music and other subjects within the performing arts department using engaging and inclusive online methods.
  • Plan and deliver online lessons that support student development in reading, writing, and communication.
  • Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Mark student work accurately and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of online learning resources and curriculum materials.
  • Participate in professional development and departmental collaboration.
  • Promote student well-being and academic progress while upholding safeguarding standards.
  • Support the wider learning community by sharing ideas and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A strong academic background in teaching Music.
  • Secure understanding of international English curricula and assessment standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using online teaching platforms and digital tools.
  • A strong understanding of, and commitment to, safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a professional learning community.

Preferred

  • Experience creating or adapting online teaching resources for English.
  • Experience teaching students from a range of international and cultural backgrounds.
  • A reflective, adaptable approach suited to a dynamic online learning environment.
