Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Music and other subjects within the performing arts department using engaging and inclusive online methods.
- Plan and deliver online lessons that support student development in reading, writing, and communication.
- Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Mark student work accurately and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of online learning resources and curriculum materials.
- Participate in professional development and departmental collaboration.
- Promote student well-being and academic progress while upholding safeguarding standards.
- Support the wider learning community by sharing ideas and resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong academic background in teaching Music.
- Secure understanding of international English curricula and assessment standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using online teaching platforms and digital tools.
- A strong understanding of, and commitment to, safeguarding and student welfare.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a professional learning community.
Preferred
- Experience creating or adapting online teaching resources for English.
- Experience teaching students from a range of international and cultural backgrounds.
- A reflective, adaptable approach suited to a dynamic online learning environment.
