The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging music lessons to students across a range of year groups
- Develop and implement a varied and imaginative music curriculum
- Support students in achieving their full potential through individual and group instruction
- Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme, including ensembles and performances
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development activities
- Promote the school’s values and ethos through teaching and pastoral care
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant music education or equivalent experience
- Experience in teaching music to students aged 11–18
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Visas cannot be sponsored)
Preferred
- Experience with music performance, composition, or instrumental teaching
- Familiarity with music technology and digital resources
- Experience in a school or educational setting
- Ability to contribute to extra-curricular music activities and events
