Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative music lessons across all key stages
• Support the development of students’ musical skills and appreciation for the subject
• Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance the music curriculum
• Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular music activities
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Work closely with other departments to promote a well-rounded education
• Stay up to date with current developments in music education and pedagogy

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in music education
• Ability to teach across all key stages
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to student progress and achievement
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality teaching

Preferred

• Experience in leading or contributing to music ensembles or extra-curricular activities
• Knowledge of music technology and its application in teaching
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment in music
