Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering individual and group Occupational Therapy interventions
  • Completing specialist assessments and creating measurable therapy goals
  • Supporting sensory integration and functional skill development
  • Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams (MDT)
  • Providing guidance, training and support to staff and families
  • Contributing to care planning, transition planning and service development
  • Supporting therapy assistants and students through mentoring and supervision

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of child development, neurodiversity and sensory needs

Preferred

  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Knowledge of sensory integration approaches
  • Experience within education, residential or multidisciplinary settings
