The Opportunity:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in helping students access learning and participate fully in school life. You will collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to provide targeted support, enhance sensory and motor development, and promote independence and functional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with additional learning needs through tailored interventions and therapies.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop individualized education plans.
• Deliver sensory and motor development programs that promote independence.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular reports to parents and staff.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
• Develop and implement strategies to support students in the classroom and wider school environment.
• Stay updated with best practices in occupational therapy and inclusion.
• Promote a culture of inclusion, well-being, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current professional registration (e.g. HCPC or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience, ideally in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong understanding of sensory processing, motor development, and functional skills.
• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and international-mindedness.

Preferred

• Experience with international education or multicultural environments.
• Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme or similar curricula.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
• Experience in creating inclusive learning environments.
