Summary:

Admissions Manager needed to lead and support the admissions process at a prestigious institution.

The Opportunity:

As an Admissions Manager, you will oversee the admissions process from initial inquiry through to student arrival, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for families. You will lead a team, manage data with compliance to GDPR, and drive innovation in admissions workflows. This role is crucial in maintaining the school’s reputation for excellence and providing exceptional support to prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the admissions team and ensure efficient, compliant, and customer-focused service.
  • Oversee the full admissions process, from initial enquiry through to student arrival.
  • Implement and maintain accurate data management systems using a CRM database.
  • Develop and report on admissions workflows and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies and procedures.
  • Encourage innovation and transparency in data handling and team operations.
  • Support and motivate the admissions team to deliver a collaborative and efficient workplace.
  • Work closely with preparatory schools and parents to identify and guide prospective students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience managing an education-based admissions team and data management process.
  • Strong experience with CRM databases and report generation.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and data compliance procedures.
  • Experience in the education sector, preferably in schools, FE, or HE.

Preferred

  • Experience with admissions software and workflow automation tools.
  • Background in managing a team in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with generating reports and analyzing admissions data.
  • Knowledge of child safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with international admissions processes.
