The Opportunity:

As a Parent Liaison Officer, you will be at the heart of building strong, trusting relationships between the school and families. This role is essential in ensuring that communication is clear, consistent, and culturally responsive, creating a supportive and inclusive community for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all parent enquiries, providing timely and thoughtful responses that reflect the school’s commitment to excellence.
  • Communicate key school updates, events, and initiatives through various channels with clarity, consistency, and warmth.
  • Act as a bridge between parents and school staff, resolving concerns with discretion and guiding families through policies with sensitivity and care.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with parents through proactive community-building initiatives such as coffee mornings, workshops, and welcome events.
  • Ensure a culturally sensitive and inclusive parent engagement experience, tailored to the diverse backgrounds of the school community.
  • Design and manage systems for gathering and analysing parent feedback to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
  • Support the onboarding of new families, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and connected from the moment they join the school.
  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of high-profile school events, ensuring they are executed to the highest standard with attention to detail and hospitality.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in an international school or educational setting.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Cambridge curriculum schools and their community dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with school management systems such as iSAMS.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, with an understanding of the unique needs of families in a multicultural setting.
