The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Part-Time Chemistry Teacher to join our team from September 2026. This role offers the chance to teach Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE and Chemistry up to A level in a dynamic and supportive academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE and Chemistry up to A level.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for science.
• Support students in developing their knowledge, skills, and confidence in Chemistry and Biology.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Use technology, such as an iPad, to enhance teaching and administrative tasks.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Chemistry and Biology.
• Ability to teach Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE and Chemistry up to A level.
• Experience in delivering A level Chemistry in an academic setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

• Experience working in an independent or selective school environment.
• Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
• Familiarity with the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
