The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time German and French Teacher to join our successful Languages department. The role involves teaching German and French to Key Stage 4 students and contributing to the school’s strong tradition of language learning and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality German and French lessons to Key Stage 4 students.
- Prepare and implement engaging and effective teaching resources and strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Languages department and its curriculum.
- Support students in preparing for exams and achieving excellent results.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, including residential trips, exchanges, and enrichment days.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching German and French to Key Stage 4 students.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent results and a commitment to academic excellence.
- Experience of teaching students aiming for Oxbridge and other top universities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular and enrichment activities.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Mandarin or Spanish as an additional language.
- Experience working in a boarding school or similar environment.
- Familiarity with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.
