The role involves teaching German and French to Key Stage 4 students and contributing to the school’s strong tradition of language learning and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality German and French lessons to Key Stage 4 students.
• Prepare and implement engaging and effective teaching resources and strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the Languages department and its curriculum.
• Support students in preparing for exams and achieving excellent results.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, including residential trips, exchanges, and enrichment days.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching German and French to Key Stage 4 students.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent results and a commitment to academic excellence.
• Experience of teaching students aiming for Oxbridge and other top universities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Mandarin or Spanish as an additional language.
• Experience working in a boarding school or similar environment.
• Familiarity with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.
