Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PE and Games lessons that inspire and engage students.
• Develop and implement inclusive, challenging, and fun sporting activities that promote physical and social development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s mission and values.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that encourages participation and respect.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of co-curricular sporting events and activities.

• Stay up to date with best practices in PE and Games education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE and Games.
• Strong knowledge of child development and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching students aged 4–11.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies in PE.
• Experience with outdoor education or competitive sport.
• Passion for promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
• Previous experience in a school setting with a strong co-curricular programme.
