The Opportunity:

As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical education to students from Reception to Key Stage 2. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement lessons in ball skills, team games, gymnastics, and dance for Reception to Key Stage 2.
• Organise and lead Sports Day activities and events.
• Deliver before or after school practice clubs for students.
• Coordinate internal and inter-school team game matches.
• Attend and participate in internal and external inset training sessions.
• Introduce and teach the correct use of a wide range of sports equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and reports.
• Review and update the PE curriculum and policy annually.
• Select, manage, and maintain relevant PE resources and materials.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience teaching PE at the primary level.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in physical education.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Understanding of differentiated planning and assessment.

Preferred

• Experience in organising and running school sports events.
• Knowledge of current PE teaching methods and best practices.
• Experience in working with parents and other staff members to support student development.
