Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Monitor and track student progress, ensuring that learning is tailored to individual needs.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, resilience, and independence.
  • Support the school’s Catholic ethos and promote Gospel values in daily teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students within the classroom and school setting.
  • Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential academically and personally.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and Gospel values.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for student welfare and progress.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Familiarity with Catholic education and values.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
  • Ability to lead and inspire students through innovative teaching methods.
