The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student achievement and progression in History.
• Support the continued success of the department by contributing to the development of teaching and learning strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student outcomes.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
• Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and follow school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in History or a closely related subject.
• Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
• Commitment to student achievement and progression.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a school with a strong academic record.
