Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with their pastoral needs and help them reflect on their behaviours.
  • Contribute to shaping the school’s ethos and routines.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff across the school and multi-academy trust.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive environment that reflects the school’s multi-faith and virtues-led approach.
  • Assist in delivering personal development programmes that encourage compassion, humility, and service.
  • Work closely with students, families, and the wider community to support student success.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and professionalism.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities, including potential pathways to teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Experience in a pastoral or educational support role.
  • Understanding of student wellbeing and personal development.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a multi-faith or faith-based setting.
  • Knowledge of pastoral care in a school environment.
  • Experience with CPD and professional development.
  • Interest in teaching or further training to teach.
  • Familiarity with virtues-led education models.
