The Opportunity:

A Science Teacher is needed to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on student learning. This role offers the chance to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across KS3 to GCSE and contribute to a school committed to excellence and innovation in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students from KS3 through to GCSE
• Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support student progress and achievement
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral support
• Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement
• Support the development of students’ academic and personal growth
• Stay up to date with developments in Science education and curriculum changes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or will have QTS by the start date of the position
• Experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from KS3 through to GCSE
• Strong commitment to student achievement and a passion for Science education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience in developing and implementing new teaching methodologies
• Experience with cross-curricular or STEM initiatives
• Leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting
• Experience with pastoral care or student support
