The Opportunity:

As a Pastoral Administrator - Senior School, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the pastoral and safeguarding team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment, working closely with key leadership figures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Deputy Head (Pupil Development) and Assistant Head (Wellbeing) with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Pastoral Assistant to ensure smooth functioning of the pastoral office.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records related to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
  • Coordinate communication between pastoral staff, students, and parents.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of pastoral and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, events, and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and pastoral policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a busy administrative environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using administrative software and systems.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a pastoral or safeguarding role.
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Experience with student wellbeing initiatives.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work part-time and on a permanent basis.
