Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons that drive achievement and foster a love of learning.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and progress.
- Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement and attainment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s leadership programme and character development initiatives.
- Participate in professional development and training to maintain and enhance teaching standards.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized guidance and mentorship.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the school’s curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of teaching to GCSE standard.
- Proven ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and student progress.
- Demonstrated experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in innovation and creativity within the classroom.
- Experience working in a school with a leadership specialism.
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
