Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons that drive achievement and foster a love of learning.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and progress.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement and attainment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s leadership programme and character development initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development and training to maintain and enhance teaching standards.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized guidance and mentorship.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the school’s curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching to GCSE standard.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and student progress.
  • Demonstrated experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in innovation and creativity within the classroom.
  • Experience working in a school with a leadership specialism.
  • Experience with inclusive education and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
