As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and motivating pupils through high-quality Physical Education. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, safe, and well-structured PE lessons that promote participation, teamwork, and resilience.
- Support the development of an ambitious and inclusive PE curriculum that enables all pupils to make strong progress.
- Lead and manage large groups of pupils effectively, modelling high standards of behaviour, professionalism, and care.
- Contribute to extra-curricular clubs, fixtures, and enrichment opportunities that enhance pupils’ sporting experiences.
- Play an active role in building a positive, disciplined, and aspirational school culture.
- Communicate clearly and positively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
- Demonstrate resilience, optimism, and a commitment to continual professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with young people and leading physical activity safely and effectively.
- A passion for PE and school sport.
- High expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.
- The right to work in the UK.
Preferred
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Coaching qualifications or relevant experience in PE.
- Experience in curriculum design or assessment.
- Background in professional development or leadership in education.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary on Ark unqualified or main teaching pay scales (£23,157 - £33,739).
- Fixed-term contract until 20 July 2026.
- Flexible start date.
