The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and inspiring PE Teacher to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people. This role offers the opportunity to teach girls’ PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, while contributing to a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach PE to girls across KS3 and KS4 with a focus on high-quality, inclusive instruction.
  • Support students’ wellbeing and personal development as a form tutor.
  • Contribute to the delivery of extra-curricular sport and enrichment activities.
  • Promote the school’s values through professional conduct and high standards.
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
  • Encourage student engagement and achievement in physical education and personal development.
  • Collaborate with other staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Participate in the school’s continuous professional development and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE.
  • Strong subject knowledge in PE and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to inclusive and adaptive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with students across KS3 and KS4.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to extra-curricular sports programs.
  • Experience in pastoral care or form tutoring.
  • Familiarity with the Bishop Fraser Trust and its values.
  • Demonstrable experience in promoting student wellbeing and personal development.
  • Experience with CPD and professional growth opportunities.
