The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring PE Teacher to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people. This role offers the opportunity to teach girls’ PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, while contributing to a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach PE to girls across KS3 and KS4 with a focus on high-quality, inclusive instruction.
- Support students’ wellbeing and personal development as a form tutor.
- Contribute to the delivery of extra-curricular sport and enrichment activities.
- Promote the school’s values through professional conduct and high standards.
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Encourage student engagement and achievement in physical education and personal development.
- Collaborate with other staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Participate in the school’s continuous professional development and leadership opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE.
- Strong subject knowledge in PE and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to inclusive and adaptive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with students across KS3 and KS4.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to extra-curricular sports programs.
- Experience in pastoral care or form tutoring.
- Familiarity with the Bishop Fraser Trust and its values.
- Demonstrable experience in promoting student wellbeing and personal development.
- Experience with CPD and professional growth opportunities.
