Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain science laboratory equipment and resources to ensure safety and effective teaching.
- Support the delivery of practical science lessons across all key stages.
- Assist in the development and implementation of science-related projects and experiments.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed in the science department.
- Collaborate with science teachers to plan and prepare resources for lessons.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and inventory.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Support the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant qualifications in science or a related field.
- Experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in a technical or support role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
Preferred
- Experience in a Catholic school or similar educational environment.
- Knowledge of current science curriculum and teaching practices.
