Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning in numeracy across all year groups.
- Provide tailored assistance to students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of numeracy-focused learning activities.
- Monitor and record student progress regularly.
- Assist in the preparation of resources and materials for lessons.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Level 3 qualification (NVQ level 3 or A level).
- Experience working with children in a secondary school or similar setting.
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
- Strong organisational and technical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in numeracy teaching or support roles.
- Familiarity with the Star Academies' values and mission.
- Experience in a school setting with a leadership specialism.
