The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Promote a positive and inclusive sporting culture across the school.
- Plan and lead extracurricular sporting activities and events.
- Support the personal development of students through coaching and mentorship.
- Work closely with other teachers and staff to ensure a consistent and positive learning experience.
- Monitor and assess student progress in PE and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all students during sporting activities.
- Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and sports development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE.
- Current teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working with children of all ages and abilities.
- Knowledge of a wide range of sports and physical activities.
- Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and student support strategies.
