The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons and Games sessions that promote physical literacy and fundamental movement skills.
- Coach and lead school sports teams, preparing students for fixtures and tournaments.
- Collaborate with the PE department to develop and implement inclusive sporting programs.
- Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages student participation and enjoyment in physical activity.
- Support the school’s commitment to pupil wellbeing and personal development through sports.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular sporting activities.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive sporting experience for all students.
- Work with colleagues to promote the value of physical education across the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in physical education.
- Strong knowledge of a range of sports and games.
- Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students of all abilities.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred
- Experience coaching school sports teams or working in a similar educational setting.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum for Physical Education.
- Experience in developing and leading extracurricular sports programs.
- Passion for promoting lifelong participation in physical activity.
