The Opportunity:
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a class at a crucial stage in their learning journey. You will help students build strong foundations across the KS2 curriculum and support them in developing confidence and essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and individualized learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect and responsibility.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in KS2, with a preference for Year 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.
Preferred
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or curriculum design.
- Familiarity with the Lift Schools Instructional Excellence Program.
- Experience in leading or contributing to staff development initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in raising student achievement and engagement.

The base salary for this role will be on the KAS scale and the positioning will depend on experience. (The KAS scale is the same as the Outer London pay scale, plus an additional allowance).
