The Opportunity:

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a class at a crucial stage in their learning journey. You will help students build strong foundations across the KS2 curriculum and support them in developing confidence and essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and individualized learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect and responsibility.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in KS2, with a preference for Year 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods or curriculum design.
  • Familiarity with the Lift Schools Instructional Excellence Program.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to staff development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in raising student achievement and engagement.
