Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and challenge students across all key stages.
- Develop and implement engaging academic PE courses, including GCSE and A Level qualifications.
- Support the growth of the department through involvement in extra-curricular activities, fixtures, and training.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and personal development through sport.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and provide enrichment opportunities.
- Work closely with pastoral teams to support student well-being and achievement.
- Participate in school events, sports tours, and community initiatives.
- Ensure a safe and motivating environment for all students during physical activity.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE.
- Proven ability to teach both practical and academic PE to a high standard.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and the development of well-rounded individuals.
- Experience working within a school environment, ideally in a faith-based setting.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching academic PE at GCSE and A Level.
- Involvement in extra-curricular sports and leadership programmes.
- Experience with sports leadership or coaching qualifications.
- Familiarity with Jewish traditions or a commitment to working in a faith-based school.
- Demonstrated success in achieving outstanding student outcomes in PE.
