Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive PE lessons across Years 7-13.
  • Contribute to the school’s extensive extra-curricular programme.
  • Implement a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum.
  • Monitor and support student progress and development.
  • Raise standards of student attainment across the school.
  • Facilitate a learning environment that encourages student growth and achievement.
  • Share best practice and support professional development within the department.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and high expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Good Honours Degree in a relevant subject
  • Willingness to undertake further Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Physical Education
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and personal development
