The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Modern Foreign Languages lessons to students across key stages.
- Support the development of students’ language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
- Work closely with the house system to support student well-being and personal development.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Modern Foreign Languages at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge in languages, with the ability to teach French and German.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student progress and inclusive education.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at a school with a strong academic reputation.
- Familiarity with the use of digital tools in language teaching.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Knowledge of the school’s house system and pastoral support structures.
