Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England and international qualifications.
• Develop and implement engaging sports programs and extracurricular activities that promote physical and personal development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission of character development and global citizenship.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual and group development.
• Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in pastoral care, events, and professional development initiatives.
• Stay up to date with best practices in PE and sports education, integrating innovative teaching methods into lessons.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of sports facilities and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
• A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
• Extensive experience teaching the National Curriculum of England, including IGCSE, AS/A Level, and the International Baccalaureate (IB).
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning in a PE context.
• Strong commitment to extracurricular involvement and student wellbeing.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in an international school setting.
• Familiarity with British curriculum pathways and qualifications.
• Experience with evidence-based teaching methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
