The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across the full age and ability range.
• Plan and implement agreed Schemes of Work to a high standard.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the continuous development of the Science department.
• Foster a secure understanding of scientific concepts and encourage critical thinking in students.
• Ensure that students are challenged and supported to achieve outstanding outcomes at GCSE and A Level.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to the school’s commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
• Support the school’s mission to develop confident, curious, and successful learners.
• Promote the school’s ASPIRE values in the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant Science subject knowledge.
• Experience in teaching Science at secondary level.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student achievement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching methods.
• Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Experience in delivering Science education at both GCSE and A Level.
• Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
