Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging PE lessons that promote physical development and lifelong fitness.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in sport and physical activity.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s mission and values.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement in PE outcomes.
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and teamwork.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities that support student wellbeing and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and trust requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant PE qualifications.
• Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and support school values.

Preferred

• Experience working with boys in a PE setting.
• Knowledge of sports coaching or leadership opportunities.
• Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
• Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
