Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach A Level Psychology to a range of students, ensuring progression and achievement in line with school policies.
  • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment that supports all students.
  • Use data to monitor student performance and implement strategies to improve outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental planning, curriculum development, and assessment processes.
  • Monitor and intervene in teaching to ensure effective learning and a safe environment.
  • Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme and wider college life.
  • Share best practice and support continuous improvement within the Psychology faculty.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Psychology.
  • Experience in teaching A Level Psychology or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and academic excellence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering high-quality A Level lessons.
  • Background in curriculum development or leadership.
  • Experience with data-driven teaching strategies.
  • Involvement in extracurricular or enrichment activities.
